A meal without Rice is no meal

Rice is one such ingredient which is highly versatile, belongs to almost every cuisine and can be cooked in as many ways, as a starter, entree or a dessert. How many of us know that there are more than 40,000 varieties of rice? Also, rice is considered fortunate and as a symbol of fertility in many cultures.

Mauritian Chicken Fried Rice
We do not think this dish needs much introduction to the Mauritian people. Among the most ordered food in any restaurant, it is prepared in a variety of ways but typically Mauritian fried rice is prepared with a mix of chicken and veggies (frozen). Serve piping hot with some tomato salsa and chilli paste.

Joll of Rice
This popular Nigerian meal will make you jovial like it does to the Africans. Basmati rice is prepared and mixed with tomato stew and seasonings giving a tangy taste to our food buds.
